Big Sur

Big Sur is 100 miles of breathtaking winding coastline along the central California coast stretching along Highway 1 from
Monterey to San Luis Obispo. Other than Highway 1, Big Sur is pristine, with no large towns and very little else in the way of manmade structures. While driving through Big Sur, one enjoys spectacular views of mountains and rocky beaches.
Sights along Big Sur include Point Lobos State Reserve, the Bixby Creek Bridge, the Point Sur Lighthouse, Nepenthe, Andrew Molera State Park, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, The Esalen Institute, the Ventana Wilderness, Jade Cove, and San Simeon.
