Monterey

Monterey is a charming old small town along the central coast of California. It is well-known for its fishing industry as well as its art history and marine life. Famous sights include Cannery Row, the Carmel Mission, Colton Hall, Fisherman's Wharf, the Larkin House, the Stevenson House, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Monterey is also near the towns of Carmel and Pacific Grove as well as the 17-Mile Drive. Monterey also holds an annual jazz festival during the third weekend of September.
