Nepenthe

Nepenthe is a beautiful resort off Highway 1. It is hidden from the road by oak trees. It has long been visited by Hollywood stars. The resort was built in 1949. It has an outdoor restaurant which serves lunch and dinner every day of the year from 11:30 AM to 10 PM. There is also Cafe Kevah, a terraced outdoor cafe just below the restaurant, which overlooks the Pacific. Nepenthe also has a gift shop, the Phoenix Shop, featuring merchandise from around the world as well as from local artisans.
