Stevenson House
The Stevenson House in Monterey was home to the
famous writer Robert Louis Stevenson, author of Treasure Island,
for a few months in 1879. Since then, this two-story abode has housed
various families, politicians, artists, writers, and fishermen. Today it is
a museum honoring Stevenson.
