Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

roger rabbit's car toon spin

Based on the success of the movie “Who Shot Roger Rabbit,” this attraction allows the riders some of the control of the car’s direction. With this feature, it makes the ride different, providing a different experience each time the riders get behind the wheel of Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin.

Located in Mickey’s Toontown, after opening in 1994, it travels through the wacky world of Roger Rabbit. Roger Rabit was one of the first films to feature cartoon characters and real people interacting on the same screen. Many of the same toons that starred in the movie with Roger will show up throughout the course of this spinning, swerving and sometimes unnerving ride.

As it briskly travels the roads of Toontown, the rider controls the steering wheel and whatever direction the cab points, is up to the driver. It’s a runaway cab that people are climbing into for their wild ride through the streets and at any point, just about anything can happen on this interactive ride.

The ride is rated for families with kids and those with teens. It is not recommended for toddlers, although there is no height restriction, it is advised small children are accompanied by an adult. While the car travels through the streets, it points where ever the driver aims it, while continuing on its journey through town.

While many of the older Disneyland attractions have been the inspiration for movies, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is one of the many Disneyland attractions inspired by a Disney movie, bringing the characters to life.
