Splash Mountain
For real redneck fun in Southern California, as well as beating the heat, Splash Mountain can conjure up images of mountain life before plunging riders five stories into the Briar Patch. Characters from Disney’s “Song of the South” entertain riders as they slowly climb the hill in Critter Country until they reach the Laughin’ Place.
Here, visitors can be entertained by the critters’ antics as they sing and dance, meandering through the mountain in a hollowed out log. Riders should then be prepared for a massive plunge into the Briar Patch pond, where water spraying up fro the collision of pond and log will make them wet. This is not a ride for someone who plans to stay dry all day.
Be reminded that guests will get very wet on this ride. Photos taken during the plunge of the riders screaming in fear and excitement will be available for purchase at the end of the ride, following splash down in the backwoods bayou.
Riders of this, and many other high thrill rides should be a good health and be free of high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems or any other conditions that may aggravated by this ride’s sudden and fast fall into water. Persons prone to suffer from motion sickness may want to avoid this ride. Just as a reminder, people on this ride will get wet.
