Sun Wheel
There are many ways to enjoy Disney’s California Adventure, and one of the best is to ride on the Sun Wheel. This is a take on the old fashioned Ferris Wheels, because not only can you ride around and around on a trip that goes up into the air for 16 stories, you can also do it two different ways.
The first way that you can ride the Sun Wheel is to go in the stationary gondolas, much like a regular Ferris Wheel. These do not move, and they will offer you a spectacular view of California as you soar above it. You can see more than you ever believed you’d be able to see, as you travel in the Sun Wheel.
Once you have done it this way, it is suggested that you do it again, only this time you try the swinging AND sliding gondolas that will whip you back and forth as you go around in the Gondolas. This is a great way to enjoy the same experience in different ways - the first time you can simply sit and relax, and the second time you can go for the thrill!
There are many great attractions at Disney’s California Adventures, and this is just one of them. However, it is one of the most important and one of the most fun because it will give you a chance to feel and experience the same ride in two different ways. This is something that is one of the best things about Disney’s California Adventure - the chance to do it a couple of times, and to do it great each time!!
