Hollywood Bowl

hollywood bowl

Built in the natural cavity of Earth, the Hollywood Bowl, which used to be known as the Daisy Dell, was established in July 11, 1922.  The Daisy Dell started out with wooden benches placed on the hillsides of Bolton Canyon. Musical performances at that time were done under the stars. Much has changed since that time. In fact, at present the Hollywood Bowl is considered one of the best modern amphitheatres in the country.
Not long after its establishment, the Hollywood Bowl became the center for musical performances in its part of California.  The Hollywood Bowl became the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Hollywood Bowl orchestra. Following its tradition of hosting performances of the some of the greatest musicians all over the world, this cultural landmark soon became one of the most beloved places for music in the world. Music lovers from all over the world come to this place just to watch the performances of their favorite musicians.

Aside from being a center for music, the Hollywood Bowl also serves as a venue for many activities in the area. As one of the largest amphitheaters in the world with its current seating capacity of just a little fewer than 18,000, it is perfect for large events and gatherings. The Hollywood High School and other nearby educational institutions conduct their graduate rites in this amphitheater. For many film and TV producers, the Hollywood Bowl offers a perfect place for producing various kinds of movies and TV shows.
