Japanese American National Museum

The Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles documents the history of Japanese Americans in the United States. It has the world's largest collection of Japanese American memorabilia. Most of the museum's artifacts are ordinary household items, such as luggage, newspapers, and clothing, more valuable items having been confiscated during World War II. The museum also has an archive of internment camp records alongside camp mementos. The museum also features temporary exhibitions and workshops.
