Jurassic Park: The Ride

Based on the enormously successful 1993 film Jurassic Park, this ride at Universal Studios Hollywood is an exciting adventure through a make-believe world of ages past. The ride lasts just 5 1/2 minutes, but it passes through six acres (2.5 ha) of lush jungle, including five-storey high robotic dinosaurs, which pass just inches away from the riders' faces. Riders are also hurled next to a hungry Tyrannosaurus Rex. The ride ends with an 84-foot (25 m) drop into a pitch black abyss.
