Condor Club

The Condor Club is a famous striptease club on the corner of Columbus Avenue and Broadway Street in downtown San Francisco. The club gained notoriety during the 1960s, when Carol Doda worked there. She would be lowered from the ceiling on top of the piano, where she'd be dancing in a topless bikini. She performed 12 shows a night. Due to her popularity, several other strip clubs soon opened on Broadway Street and eventually across the country.
