Lower Haight

The Lower Haight, also known as the Haight-Fillmore, is the district of San Francisco that lies midway between the Civic Center and the Haight-Ashbury District, just east of the Haight. This neighborhood has many interesting art galleries and boutiques as well as trendy cafes, bars and restaurants. Like the Haight, the Lower Haight also contains dozens of beautiful Victorian houses, built during the later half of the 19th century.

The Lower Haight is safe during the day, but not at night.
