Marina Green

The Marina Green is a 74-acre (30 ha) expanse of grass along the San Francisco Marina, from Fort Mason to the Presidio. It is a popular area for kite-flying and picnicking. A large fireworks show is held here every Fourth of July. On a clear day, the fireworks can be seen throughout the city. A long strip along the marina is a prime area for jogging, biking, and roller skating. The marina is home to the St. Francis Yacht Club and the Golden Gate Yacht Club.
