Spreckels Lake

Spreckels Lake is a manmade lake located on the west side of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, near 36th Avenue. Amateurs often sail remote-controlled model yachts in this lake, like the one shown above. The lake is specifically designed for model yachting and thus has a vertical edge with a surrounding walkway. One can also find many ducks swimming in this lake. Ramps allow the ducks to safely leave the lake.
