Mumm Napa Valley

Mumm is the French champagne house and a joint venture between Mumm and Seagram led to the formation of Mumm Napa Valley in the heart of Wine Country. It is fairly easy to find the winery as it is located along the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley between the Oakville Cross Road and the Rutherford Cross Road.
Mumm Napa Valley, spread over 112 acres (45 ha), is considered to be California’s premier sparkling wine producer, and its Napa Brut Prestige and Vintage Reserve are the most popular and well-known around the world.
Mumm Napa Valley offers its visitors excellent tour of the vineyard, cellars and comfortable tasting room which affords a view of the beautiful vineyards. Mumm Napa Valley also has a photography gallery which houses the permanent exhibits of Ansel Adams photographs. Tour of Mumm Valley is free while wine tasting costs between $5 and $14.
Each year, Mumm Napa Valley hosts the Mustard Festival’s amateur and professional photography contest in their photography gallery. The photographs are displayed in the gallery for several weeks and contest winners are at the winery at the last event of the festival which is at the end of March.
If you are visiting Mumm Napa Valley in a group, it would be advisable to get an appointment for a private tour and wine tasting. You can also contact Mumm Napa Valley for private events.
The winery is open daily and tours are conducted from 10 am to 5 pm, on the hour. Once you finish the tour, a visit to the wine shop is a must. The Mumm Napa Valley wine shop offers 8 to 12 different vintages of wines, some of which are just available in the winery.
