The Denver Mint, situated in Denver, Colorado, is world’s single largest producer of coins. It was established on April 21, 1862 and today, it is a part of the United States Mint. It produces mint sets, coins for circulation, as well as commemorative coins. All the coins produced at this Mint have a special ‘D’ mint mark. Besides, the Mint also features numerous exhibits and artifacts that illustrate the early days of the United States Mint.
