Keystone Resort is a popular ski resort situated in Keystone, Colorado. It was established by Max Dercum on November 21, 1970. This Resort comprises of 4 panoramic mountains: the North Peak, the Dercum Mountain, the Independence Bowl, and the Outback. Three of these mountains are connected by a series of gondolas and ski-lifts. Keystone is also considered to be the largest resort in Colorado to offer facilities for night skiing. As many as 15 trails in the resort are lit by huge light fixtures and the lift operation is also run late into the night.

The Resort encompasses 3148 acres (12.7 sq-km) of skiiable area with a total of 117 trails. 19% of these trails are designated as “beginner”, 32% as “intermediate”, and 49% as “advanced/expert”. The longest run measures over 3.5 miles (5.6 km) and the maximum vertical drop offered in the area is nearly 3128 ft (953.4 m). The Resort also features 51 rails and fun boxes; an enlarged half-pipe; 2 gondolas, Outpost and River Run; 5 high-speed quad chair lifts; Ruby Express, a high-speed 6 person lift; Way back, a quad chair lift; Ranger, a triple chair lift; 3 double chair lifts; and 6 surface lifts. A major attraction at the Resort is the A51 Terrain Park, the highest park in Colorado. This Park has various contrivances for trick performances. Besides, there are 7 bowls in Keystone named Erickson, Independence, North, Puma, South, Bergman, and Lower Packsaddle.

Keystone observes an average snowfall of 230 inches (584.2) every year. This Resort, known for its down-to-earth friendliness and world-class slopes, is the most favorite destinations with the locals. It offers a myriad of recreational activities, a number of off-mountain activities, a lively ski town, ski lessons, and special programs. Due to this, it is often called the "ultimate all-things-to-all-skiers" resort.
