Las Olas Boulevard

Las Olas Boulevard, situated in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a popular thoroughfare, featuring bridal stores, trendy shops, bars, nightclubs, art galleries, chic boutiques, restaurants, and hotels. Popularly known as the Rodeo Drive of Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas is well known for its magnificent office buildings and condominiums, which were constructed in the area over the past decade. The name Las Olas Boulevard has been derived from the Spanish word, ‘Las Olas’, meaning “The Waves”.

Las Olas was established in 1917 as a dirt road that led to the beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach. A number of bridal stores, such as the original David’s Bridal, Sue Gordon’s Bridal, and Victoria’s Bridal Couture, were established in 1950, 1980, and 1991 respectively. Las Olas Boulevard has a lot to offer and is well worth visiting. It forms the perfect base for those who are planning to explore Southern Florida and all that it has to offer.
