Plymouth Congregational ChurchThe Plymouth Congregational Church, situated in the beautiful Coconut Grove Village in Miami, Florida, was established in 1897. It is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and was listed on the US National Register of Historic Places on July 23, 1974. This historic church is a magnificent coral-rock structure, designed on the theme of a Mexican mission. Its front door has been brought from an early 17th century monastery in the Pyrenees. It is made of walnut and oak with authentic wrought-iron fittings. The 11-acre (4.5-hectare) church premises also feature the first schoolhouse to be established in Miami-Dade County. Plymouth Congregational Church welcomes everyone irrespective of their gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnic background, citizenship, or physical or mental impairment.
