Ripley's Believe It or Not!
Ripley's Believe It Or Not, situated on the International Drive in Orlando, Florida, is one of the major tourist attractions in the city. This Orlando branch of Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museums has been wonderfully designed to appear like it is descending into one of the many infamous sinkholes in Florida! The Museum features a number of audio-visual presentations, interactive exhibits, and as many as 16 thematic galleries dedicated to the bizarre, odd, unusual, and the unbelievable. These galleries showcase extraordinary, strange, and wacky people, objects, and artifacts from around the globe. This astonishing collection of rare treasures and atypical and weird relics is sure to amaze the visitors.
Ripley's operate as many as 27 oddity museums worldwide. The Orlando Collection, housed in a deliberately disproportioned Bavarian-style building on I-Drive, is one of the most unusual collections of Ripley’s. Some of the most impressive exhibits at the museum include torture devices from the Spanish Inquisition, a 1,069-pound man, and a replica of a 1907 Rolls Royce made from over a million matchsticks. Self-paced, self-guided tours of the museum are made available to the visitors. Ample parking space is also provided. Ripley’s Believe It or Not is the best place to discover that truth is indeed stranger than fiction!
