The Quietwater Beach, situated in the Pensacola area of Florida panhandle, is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Big Lagoon State Recreation Area. The Quietwater Beach Boardwalk is an ideal place for strolling after spending a relaxing day at the beach. The scenic boardwalk is located on the Santa Rosa Sound side of the island, directly across from the pristine Casino Beach. It is lined by a number of restaurants, nightclubs, retail shops, side walk artists, and street musicians. The boat dock behind the beach allows visitors to park their boats free of charge.

The Quietwater Beach also features a number of casual and fine dining restaurants. Besides, the area features a huge sea-shell stage that hosts a number of concerts every year. The main cultural events hosted by the Quietwater Beach include the Lobster Fest, the Independence Day fireworks, and the Bushwhacker Fest.
