The Dolphin Nursery, situated just next to the popular Dolphin Cove, is a part of the Key West section of Sea World Orlando. It is home to a number of new-born dolphins that have been raised within the park. The dolphin moms and babies can be seen playing, leaping, and splashing in a large pool at the Nursery. The birth dates of the dolphin babies are posted on the signs.
Unlike the Dolphin Cove, the Dolphin Nursery does not allow the visitors to get close enough to feed or touch these dolphins. Also, guests are not allowed to take dolphins home. Therefore, the guests have to be satisfied gazing at the dolphins from several feet away. At the Dolphin Nursery, visitors are invited to join a regular Q and A session hosted by an expert. In these sessions, guests can find answers to all their curious questions.
