exhibits & rides

SeaWorld Orlando is best known for its well-trained aquatic animals, animal exhibits, and exhilarating rides. The theme park also offers a number of combine attractions and a variety of other educational exhibits.

Animal Exhibits at SeaWorld Orlando
The most impressive exhibit at the Park is the Shark Encounter. This exhibit offers the guests a unique opportunity to see the world’s greatest marine predators, including the vicious sting rays, venomous lionfish, reef sharks, and a variety of other venomous fish. Situated on the other side of the tank is the Sharks Underwater Grill, an elegant restaurant where visitors can enjoy delicious food. Another wonderful exhibit at the Park is the Penguin Encounter, a snowy wonderland featuring a wide variety of puffins and penguins. This exhibit offers a unique bi-level view of the penguin’s habitat. At the Manatees: the Last Generation exhibit, one can catch a glimpse of six slow-moving sea cows in a brackish water estuary. These cows are native to the warm waters of Florida.

Other main animal exhibits at SeaWorld include the Dolphin Cove, featuring more than 12 Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in a controlled environment; the Dolphin Nursery, home to a number of new-born dolphins that were raised within the park; the Sting Ray Bay, home to several venomous stingrays as well as many exotic species of birds; and the Pacific Point Preserve, featuring a number of seals and sea lions. SeaWorld Orlando also offers several educational exhibits, such as the Clydesdale Hamlet, Caribbean Tide Pool, and the Turtle Point.

Most Popular Rides at SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld offers a number of exciting rides to chill and thrill. The most popular rides in the Park include Kraken, Journey to Atlantis, and Wild Arctic. In addition, the park offers a number of children and family rides at Shamus Happy Harbor. ‘Kraken’ is the fastest, highest, longest, and the only floorless roller coaster in the Southeast. It is first of its kind and rides on a pedestal at speeds of nearly 65 mph. Journey to Atlantis, on the other hand, is a thrilling boat ride featuring roller coaster elements. This water ride is based on the theme of the mythical Atlantis. It takes the riders into the lost city of Atlantis where the mythical spirits and The Sirens inflict a mess on the intruders to their city. Wild Arctic, a snowy wonderland featuring beluga whales, walruses, polar bears, and harbor seals, offers an exciting, motion-based flight over the frozen North that helps the guests to experience the danger and excitement of Arctic exploration. The park’s iconic Sky Tower ride takes the guests 400 ft (121.92 m) straight up, where they can enjoy the breathtaking panoramas of Orlando.

SeaWorld, Orlando, has a lot to offer to everyone and these great exhibits and rides are certainly not to be missed.
