"Shamu: Close Up!” is one of the most exciting animal exhibits at Sea World Orlando. It features a 7 million gallon (27,000 cubic meter) naturalistic killer whale habitat. At “Shamu: Close Up’, visitors are offered a unique opportunity to get close to the park’s killer whale mascot, Shamu, and his friends. The exhibit hosts a number of interactive sessions in which guests can learn more about the playtimes and training sessions. It also displays tools, such as whale scale, special time-lapse cameras, and video monitors, and feature educational films on how these tools are used to their maximum potential. ‘Shamu: Close Up!’ is the best way to experience the anticipation of Sea World’s successful killer whale breeding program in the marine mammal nursery, and is truly worthwhile.
