Sea World Orlando is well-known for its live shows, many of which feature trained animals. Some of the main performances hosted by the park include ‘Believe’ and ‘Shamu Rocks America’ featured at the Shamu Stadium; Blue Horizons at the Whale and Dolphin Theater; Clyde and Sea-more Take Pirate Island at the Sea Lion and Otter Stadium; Elmo and the Bookaneers at the Bayside Stadium; Odyssea at the Nautilus Theater; and Pets Ahoy at Seaport Theater. The center lake at the Park hosts a wonderful show, featuring 100-foot (30-m) fountains, flames on water, fireworks, and gigantic marine creatures on 60-foot (18-m) mist screens.

‘Believe’ is featured at the Shamu Stadium throughout the year. This show offers a unique blend of natural wonders and the latest technology, and presents the story of a small boy who wished to swim with a killer whale. The 4 huge plasma screens along the back wall of the stage spin, tilt, and come together to form one huge screen, thereby adding finesse and thrill to the show. ‘Blue Horizons’, on the other hand, is a 25-minutes show, featuring Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, false killer whales, and exotic species of birds. Clyde and Seamore is a 25-minutes long hysterical pirate show and is certainly worth watching. The Shamu Adventure, hosted by renowned animal trainer Jack Hanna, is yet another popular attraction at the park.

SeaWorld Orlando also offers guests a number of educational programs and tours. The Adventure Express Tour is a 5 ½ hr, exclusive guided tour that offers reserved seating at the popular shows, front-of-line access to the major rides, and special animal feeding opportunities. ‘To the Rescue’, on the other hand, is a 60-minute tour that takes the guests behind the scenes and offers a rare glimpse of the park’s animal rescue and rehabilitation program. Other behind-the-scenes tours include the ‘Predators Tour’, which takes the visitors backstage at Shamu’s Stadium; and the ‘Polar Expedition Tour’, a 60-minute tour featuring adventure from the North Pole to the South Pole, and exclusive views of the Wild Arctic support areas, Magellanic penguin, and the Penguin Research Facility at the Park.

Another popular tour at SeaWorld is the ‘Trainer for a Day’. This 8-hour program offers a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of the shadowing SeaWorld animal trainers. This tour is, however, confined to only three people per day. In addition to the tours, SeaWorld also offers over 200 summer camps classes and a number of SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Adventure Camps for those interested to pursue a career in biological sciences. The various shows and tours at SeaWorld Orlando are truly worthwhile and not to be missed at any cost!
