Twister...Ride It Out

‘Twister…Ride it Out’, one of the major attractions at Universal Studios Florida, gives visitors a unique opportunity to see a tornado up close and personal. This attraction features a portentous, five-story high funnel cloud, which circulates more than 2 million cubic-feet of air around the theater in every setting. During the ride/show, cows and cars are hurled in the air, billboards are crushed, and windows are shattered due to the effect of the horrendous tornado. The voracious beast that destroys everything in its path and the appalling freight-train sound further add to the excitement.

The ride lasts for nearly 15 minutes. Young children may get frightened during the show and should not be brought to this attraction. It is also advised to go in the morning or at closing in order to avoid long queues. The elegant gift shop, located at the exit of the attraction, offers a wide variety of items that can be bought to commemorate the memorable experience at Universal Studios Florida. Twister… Ride It Out is one of the most exciting attractions in the park and is truly worthwhile.
