The Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour is a 25 minutes tour, which is near Chinese theater and Mickey Avenue. Shuttles provide spectators accommodation for this purpose and take the viewers to the Catastrophe Canyon. This tram has space for around 200 seats. At day-time this tour seems to be less crowded but as the day passes, it attracts a huge crowd.
The major attraction of this show is that they do not allow spectators to feel bored even before the tour actually begins by showing video clips of selected adventurous movies. After the guests settle down, there starts a drama of battles and wars; the guests are indulged into it and gather knowledge about that. This looks so real that people in front get wet during several scenes of flood in Catastrophe Canyon, and other real effects like fire explosions, storm at sea, battles make them feel the situation during these disasters. One drawback of the tour is that there is nothing for the kids here, but now authorities are planning for launching kids characters, such as Power Rangers and Kim Possible, in the area.
Many facilities, such as shopping, telephone, and restroom facilities, have been provided for the viewers at the entrance and exit of the tour. People with wheelchair need not get upset as wheelchair and ECV facility is also made available during the tour. After coming out from the Catastrophe Canyon, one may also find a hidden Mickey, but the need is to find him carefully. Overall, it is an adventurous move and everyone will be amazed to see it again and again.
