Located South of Orlando, Disney MGM Studios is known as Disney's Hollywood Studios nowadays. Disney's Hollywood Studios is an integral part of Walt Disney World Resort. This studio opened its door for public in year 1989. Soon after the huge success of this studio, Universal Studios Florida was opened next year in Orlando. The studio is open throughout the year to people of all age.
The Disney-MGM Studio was established with a concept of a park which is based on some movie. Walt Disney had this dream for many years but it could come true only in year 1989 when Walt Disney Company finally raised the curtain from this studio. In 2008, the name of this historical park changed to Disney's Hollywood Studios. With this new change, it came up with new lights, interior, motors and excellent stunt shows.
The studio has grown up double of its previous size now. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and an indoor roller coaster have become major expansions in the history of this studio. On this occasion, the studios introduced a new icon, an in-depth exhibit on the life and times of Walt Disney called One Man's Dream and the giant Sorcerer Mickey hat.
When one enters in the studios, one encounters Hollywood Boulevard, a street with fascinating architecture and decoration. As one proceeds, a park icon, a Chinese theater the great movie ride and Mickey Hat attracts a lot. Many celebrities can se easily seen around the Chinese theater. Apart from all the attractions, Sunset Boulevard is such an attraction that takes guests to other major attractions of the studio.
