In the fairyland of Walt Disney theme parks, the 260 acre Epcot needs a special mention. For it is here that visitors take an adventurous and ecstatic trip that is both fun filled and educative.
Inspired by the ongoing technological advancements in the world, Epcot, which was inaugurated in 1982, aims to inspire the young and old alike to marvel at the latest technology and at the same time be in awe of the world we live in.
Grouped into two distinctive areas with two different themes, Future World and World Showcase, Epcot makes for an exhilarating experience.
Future World unveils to the visitors the latest technologies in the globe and kids and adults can together learn about the exhibits and participate in the hands-on activities. Surprisingly children have a blast here as they never make out the learning part involved being immersed in the fun filled activities. Spaceship Earth, Innoventions, Mission Space and The Land Pavilion all enthrall, but the most loved and adored section is The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion, which brings alive the characters of the Disney’s popular “Finding Nemo”.
The second section, World Showcase is a miniature world that enables one to tour the entire globe in a single day. Separated from Future World by a 40 acre lake called the World Showcase Lagoon, World Showcase located on its banks is the first step towards exploring 11 countries, their history; culture, customs, architecture and climate all at one go.
