Epcot’s World Showcase has a pavilion dedicated to France and Impressions de France is a French movie displayed here since 1982 with digitally recorded background classical music. A 200 degree Circle-Vision 18 minute movie, Impressions de France is a French Travelogue that transports guests to this enchanting land decorated with breathtaking countryside, bustling cities, prominent districts and world acclaimed structures.
Watch in awe the splendid Eiffel Tower, the magnificent French Alps, the famous Notre Dame de Paris, Champs-Elyees, The Versailles Garden, Bugatti Race Cars in Cannes, Seine River in Paris, Wine harvest, Cognac, French Pastries and many more sights from this delightful country.
The France pavilion has been created on the theme La Belle Epoque that refers to the period of 1870-1910. Stepping over a footbridge inspired by Pont des Arts, guests walk into a serene waterfront with flower carts. A great center fountain, the cobblestone streets and soft romantic music played in the background make for a mesmerizing evening.
Famous French chefs create a scintillating menu at the Chefs de France restaurant, while the classy Bistro de Paris has a special fare and the Boulangerie Paitisserie has thoroughly enjoyable pastries.
