Disney’s Marketplace, situated at Downtown Disney in the Walt Disney World Resort is an outdoor shopping and dining complex, featuring more than 20 venues. It has a lot to offer to visitors of all age groups. Some of the most popular attractions in the area include the Fulton Crab House; World of Disney, an ultimate Disney Store; a small, spectacular fountain near the Days of Christmas; and a dancing water fountain near ‘Once upon a Toy’. Ample parking space is also made available in the parking lot adjacent to the Marketplace.

Marketplace is also well-known for its elegant restaurants. Some of the most-frequented restaurants in the area include the Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant, Earl of Sandwich, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop, McDonald’s, Rainforest Café, and the Wolfgang Puck Express. The Marketplace is also home to an impressive art gallery, known as the ‘Art of Disney’. This art gallery features limited edition animation, art, and Disney collectibles, and holds an extensive collection of a wide variety of reproduction posters. Basin, offering shampoos, facials, homemade soaps, and body masks; Disney Pin Traders, an ultimate location for Disney pin-purchasing-and trading; Disney’s Days of Christmas, a shop featuring holiday ornaments and animated figurines; Disney Trails, a section of the Pooh Corner Shop; Eurospain, a popular shop offering a number of Swarovski items with Disney themes; and the Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories, featuring a new collection of Walt-Disney branded scrapbook supplies, including pre-packaged kits, albums, glue sticks, adhesive tape, pens, scissors, and colorful Disney stickers, are some of the major shops in the area.

Image Capture, LEGO Imagination Center, Pooh Corner, Once upon a Toy, Mickey’s Mart, Summer Sands, and the Team Mickey Athletic Club are some of the other major landmarks in the area. The main sections in the World of Disney, including the Magic Room, Wonderland Room, Enchanted Dining Room, Exotic Animal Room, Villains Room, Map Room, Carnival Room, Bird Room, Snow White Room, Great Hall, and Rotunda, are all designed based on a certain Walt Disney theme. The Marketplace can be easily accessed by taking a Disney World Bus marked Downtown Disney from any of the Disney Hotels or from the Outpost Depot in Fort Wilderness. Marketplace can also be reached by boat from Old Key West or Port Orleans, on foot from Saratoga Springs, and also by a cab or a car.
