SpectroMagic Parade

spectromagic parade

The SpectroMagic Parade, produced by longtime Disney Show Producer Ron Logan, is an evening parade organized semi-nightly at Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park in the Walt Disney World Resort. This parade replaced the Main Street Electrical Parade, which was its predecessor, and resembles it to a great extent. The SpectroMagic Parade features brightly lit floats, several sound effects, and a musical score. The elaborate floats feature a number of Disney characters and depict popular scenes from Disney’s movie and short films.

The theme for this attraction, “On This Magic Night”, was composed by the famous movie composer, John Debney. The parade lasts for nearly 20 minutes. The parade features a total of 29 units and 7 whirly units. The main units of parade include the Entrance Unit with trumpeters, the Title Unit heralding SpectroMagic, Spectro-Men on Whirly Balls, Mickey Unit, Music Unit, three Garden Units, Giant Fish Unit, Fish Family Unit, the Little Mermaid Unit, Ursula Whirly Unit, the Fantasia Opening Unit, Chernabog Unit, Carousel Unit, and the Finale Units. The SpectroMagic Parade is one of the major attractions in Magic Kingdom and is truly worth watching.
