The Imagination Pavilion at Epcot’s Future World sponsored by Kodak is truly an innovative initiative that captures the attention of one and all. A part of Epcot since its inception in 1982, the Imagination Pavilion has undergone innumerable changes time and again and presently has three shows attracting visitors.
Once inside the Imagination Pavilion guests are treated to the absolutely adorable Honey I Shrunk the Audience, an enjoyable ride named Journey into Imagination....with Figment and the What If Labs.
The immensely popular “Honey I Shrunk the Audience” is a 20 minute hilarious show based on the popular 3-D movie of the 1990’s. With the theme of the show revolving around the misadventures of Professor Wayne Szalinski and the presentation having awesome special effects that ultimately shrink the audience as well, this show is pure delight.
Journey into Imagination....with Figment, a purple dinosaur that is synonymous with the attraction, has undergone changes and the new version has an entirely different storyline. This 13 minute ride revolves around the adorable dragon and tales spun out from his imagination. Kids thoroughly enjoy the ride and the colorful pictures depicted therein.
Lastly, don’t forget to visit the What If Labs, where the numerous interactive sessions encourage you to experiment with your ideas and push your imagination to work.
