The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, a popular attraction situated on the site of the former Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride at Fantasyland in the Walt Disney World Resort, is a short ride with fanciful music. This dark ride is themed after the film with the same name. The movie itself is based on the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A. A. Milne. In this ride, the silly Pooh Bear and his friend piglet lead the guests on an exciting journey through the Hundred Acre Woods.
The guests board their individual four-person Hunny Pot and join Winnie the Pooh on an enthralling venture in search of the pot of Hunny. The excitement increases as the waters rise in Hundred Acre Woods following a storm. All the characters, including the Baby Roo, Kanga, Rabbit, Eeyore, Tigger, and Owl, come together in order to save Piglet from falling over the Floody Place Falls. The ride also features a mild thunder storm scene. The ride exits in the midst of a small merchandise area known as the Pooh’s Thotful Shop.
One can meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends in Toontown, Ariel’s Grotto, and at the Character Meals in the Crystal Palace located on the Main Street. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is one of the most popular FASTPASS attractions. It is also a part of the Extra Magic Hour of the Magic Kingdom. The snack bars and fast food corners located nearby include the Enchanted Grove and Mrs. Potts’ Cupboard. Winnie the Pooh is an all time favorite with kids and is certainly worthwhile.
