Walt Disney World Resort, located southwest of Orlando, Florida, is the largest recreational resort in the world, featuring two water parks, four theme parks, and 23 themed hotels. It also offers a number of shopping, dining, recreation, and entertainment venues. The 4 major theme parks in Walt Disney World include the Magic Kingdom theme park, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The other attractions at Walt Disney World include the Typhoon Lagoon, the Bizarre Beach, Downtown Disney, Disney’s Wild World of Sports Complex, and Disney’s Boardwalk.
The rest of Walt Disney World features five golf courses, including four 18-hole golf courses, the Magnolia, the Palm, Osprey Ridge, and Lake Buena Vista, and a 9-hole walking trail, the Oak trail. In addition, there are two themed golf complexes, featuring two golf courses Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. The resort also offers catch-and-release fishing excursions on the resort’s lakes. Cane-pole fishing is offered to the guests from the docks at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
Some of the major On-site Disney resorts include the Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter. The Disney Vacation Club resorts, on the other hand, include Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villa, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Disney’s Boardwalk Villas. Walt Disney World is suitable for all ages and is definitely worth a visit with friends and family.
