The
World Showcase, one of the two theme areas in Walt Disney’s Epcot theme park, is the easiest way to explore the world, its people and their cultures and customs, all from a single location.
Situated on the banks of the beautiful World Showcase Lagoon, World Showcase has pavilions of eleven countries put up along its boundary. United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Norway, Germany, Italy, France, Morocco, Japan, China and the American Adventure pavilions form part of the World Showcase.
Considered one of the most tranquil regions in Disney World, visitors can move from one nation’s pavilion to another after learning virtually everything about the country, its residents and their cultural extravaganza. The wonderful shopping complexes and replicas of nationally significant structures make this segment a great educative outing. With the nation’s cuisine served for you to savor, you can experience the nation in its totality. National representatives at each pavilion proudly provide all information that is sought by visitors.
Different from the typical theme park concept, World Showcase aims to educate us about the other nations with whom we share the world and in spite of being devoid of amusement rides World Showcase is a memorable experience as it uncovers exciting and amazing aspects of nations that are so very much a part of our globe.
An exciting offering that comes up every evening is the stunning fireworks and laser beams that blend with the musical fountains in the impressive "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" show.
