The Chain of Craters Road is situated in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hawaii.
It is a 20-mile (32 km), paved road that provides visitor access and connects to a sequence of volcanic features. It includes dormant and active lava flows, and picturesque sight of tropical rain forests, wilderness areas, mountains and seacoast areas. A huge number among the park's 2.5 million yearly visitors make use of the Chain of Crater Rim Drive or Craters Road. The trail is a key factor in carrying out the use of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The aim of the park is “To protect and preserve the volcanic landscapes and the associated cultural and natural resources of the park, and to facilitate visitor use and access to active volcanism, scenic vistas, diverse geographic settings, and wilderness by providing a safe and functional infrastructure and neded visitor services.”
It grabs the attention of tourists with its thrilling natural exhibits and acts as a showcase of volcanic sculpture. Another beautiful scene that can be noticed here is Steam Plumes Billow when Lava flows into the Ocean.
Tourists may drive the 11-mile (18-km) Crater Rim Drive that encircles Kilauea Caldera, one of the liveliest volcanos of Hawaii. When lava flows, it shows the energy of Kilauea Caldera, and subsequent to nightfall, glowing red lava creates a pyrotechnic sight for regions along Chain of Craters Road AND Crater Rim Drive.
