Hana, situated in east Maui, is an old-fashioned, lovely little town situated at the end of the scenic "Road to Hana" drive. The picturesque landscape of the city is bordered by exquisite, undulating, lush green hills inland and deep blue waters at the sea. It forms the line of demarcation between Highway 31 along the south coast and Highway 30 along the north coast.
Hana is not merely a destination but a serene place that marks the end of a magnificent, scenic road of natural wonders. There are a number of Bed and Breakfasts, a modern hotel, restaurants and interesting historical sites within the city limits. The major tourist attractions include the Hana Bay, the Hana Cultural Center, the Hasawaga Store, the Hana Hanwhji Buddhist Temple, the Red Sand Beach, and the Wananalua Congregational Church.
Hana, the birthplace of the famous queen Kaahumanu, wife of King Kamehameha V, is rich in beauty, history, and cultural. It is known for its natural heritage and is a perfect holiday destination.
