The Pioneer Inn is the most popular historical landmark in all of Maui. This magnificent hotel was built in the year 1901 and was later renovated in 1997. In fact, Pioneer Inn was the only hotel in the area until 1950’s. The hotel is well known for its unique combination of original design and modern amenities.
The building overlooks the wonderful Lahaina Harbor. One can also view the neighboring island of Lanai from here. This Inn has 34 beds and all facilities that are needed to ensure a convenient stay. At present, the Inn is maintained and managed by The Best Western.
The Pioneer Inn offers a restaurant and hotel as well as wedding and banquet facilities. However, reservations much in advance are strongly recommended. The Inn is easily accessible and is situated between the Wharf Street and the Front Street, across the Lahaina Harbor.
