Hawaii's Plantation Village

The Hawaii's Plantation Village, situated in the Waipahu, is a famous museum that exhibits the experience and lifestyle of plantation workers of Hawaii. Community structures and furnished homes showcase and interpret the past of Hawaii's multi-ethnic heritage. Awesome antiques and relics along with the Asian art and architecture are one of the main attractions of the Village.

The Hawaii Plantation Village was first opened in September 1992.
It displayed the original items and replica structures of multiethnic groups who came to Hawaii at the time of late 1800s and 1940s to work as plantation laborers. You can visit and experience welcoming and the warm atmosphere which used to be a part of Hawaii in the early 1900s. Many guided tours are organized at the beginning of each hour on Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The time for the last guided tour is at 2:00 pm.

Waipahu Cultural Garden Park’s friends operate and manage the Plantation Village of Hawaii and an outdoor historical museum, which is situated at Waipahu Cultural Garden Park. The museum is located on a 50-acre place just below the Oahu Sugar Mill.
Guided tours of this region are organized on Monday through Saturday at the start of each hour.
