The Izumo Taisha Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Honolulu. Izumo Taisha Shrine is believed to be built during 1906 in Hawaii. It was built to pay the reverence to Okuninushi No Mikoto, the Dictator and Creator of the Universe, the younger sibling of Amaterasu Omikami, the child of Susanoo No Mikoto. Okuninushi, in the times of the kings, traditionally was regarded as the god of marriage and a god that brings nice fortune and cultivation in Japan. This Shrine is said to be the branch of the original Shrine Izumo Grand Shrine Sect located in Japan. The Shrine represents the oldest architectural and style involved in shrine in Japan.
