USS Arizona memorial, situated in the Hawaii, is very famous for its Visitor center. A historical museum, two theaters, restrooms, a bookstore, limited snack bar, exhibits telling the story of the Pearl Harbor attack and public telephones are main attractions of the Memorial.
When visitors come in the Visitor Center, everyone is instructed to line up for a numbered ticket that gives free admission to this Memorial tour. While the program is about to begin, so many guests tour the Visitor Center, its shoreline and Remembrance Circle. The moment the number that appears on a particular ticket is called, are asked to gather at the entrance of the theater in preparation for the tour to start off.
This guided USS Arizona Memorial tour includes a 23-minute documentary movies clip that depicts the famous attack on Pearl Harbor, an exploration of the Memorial and a short boat trip.
If someone is interested in a narrated tour, one can get an audio headset here that is available for rent at the visitor center. Audio tours are quite famous here and mostly people like them a lot as they represent all the historical events in much better way.
The security at this center is very good. Everyone can feel quite safe here. Special care is taken for security of personal belongings like backpacks, purses, handbags, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage etc. Visitors are allowed to bring their own cameras.
