Cedar Rapids, the county seat of Linn County, Iowa, is the second-largest city in the state. It has been named after the Cedar River that runs through the city. Together with the Iowa City Area, this region is popularly referred to as the ‘Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor’. The City is also commonly known as the ‘City of Five Seasons’; the ‘fifth season’ is the time to enjoy the other four traditional seasons.
