The City of Duluth in Minnesota is a charming place to visit and a wonderful place to reside. Named in the honor of Daniel Greysolon Du Luth, a French explorer who made peace between the warring Saulters and Sioux nations, Duluth once had the distinction of being the city with the largest number of millionaires in the world.

Today, great outdoors, exciting annual events, historic locations and water bodies like Lake Superior add to the attractiveness of Duluth for tourists. With about 4 million tourists pouring in annually, tourism is one of the biggest industries in the city.

Duluth is home to Lake Superior - one of the five Great Lakes, a favorite with visitors. This picturesque water body is not only ideal for Charter Fishing but just perfect for all the water sports like swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing. For those who want to explore the city from close quarters, Duluth Lakewalk, the 4.2 mile pathway along the shores of Lake Superior, facing Duluth downtown region is the most enjoyable option.

In close proximity to the banks of Lake Superior in West Duluth is the popular Lake Superior Zoo that has over 200 birds, animals and reptiles. Duluth also boasts of over 40 well maintained parks that have beautiful landscapes and serene environs.

World class golf courses like Enger Park and Lester Park Golf Courses, stunning skiing locales like Spirit Mountain and the breathtaking Great Lakes Aquarium make for a memorable visit.
