The Kansas City Museum, situated in the northeastern part of Kansas City, Missouri, is housed in the historic Corinthian Hall, the former Robert A. Long mansion. The Museum aims at preserving and presenting the regional history of Kansas City. Most of the exhibits at the Museum emphasize on the development of Kansas City, from the days of Osage Indians to the social and industrial life of the Civil War era.
The Kansas City Museum houses several natural history dioramas and a 50-seat planetarium. Another major attraction at the Museum is the 1910 soda fountain, where the visitors can sample an ice cream cone, float or sundae. The Museum is a great learning experience and a must-see for all those who visit the city.
