Annheuser Busch Brewery

The Anheuser-Busch Brewery, popularly known as the Budweiser Brewery, is situated at 13th Street and Lynch Street in St. Louis, Missouri. Established in the mid-1800s, it now functions as the world headquarters for the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company. It is also the largest brewery owned by the company and is often visited by people for tours and samples. Over the years, the Anheuser-Busch Brewery has emerged as a popular tourist attraction and an integral part of the economy of the state.

The Anheuser-Busch Brewery tours are offered daily, but are subject to demand. It is, therefore, recommended to plan the Budweiser brewery tour during a busy time, especially on the weekends or in the evenings. On the brewery tour, the guests are offered a unique opportunity to observe the entire brewing process; visit the Clydesdale stable, featuring an 8-horse hitch, a huge chandelier house, and a massive beer wagon; and tour the 1892 Brew House. The tour finally concludes at the Bevo Packaging Plant. At the end of the tour, two free drinks are made available to all the tour guests who are at least 21 years old.

The major attractions at the Brewery, however, are the horses that are kept at the century-old Clydesdale stables. Different groups of horses can be viewed in the exercise field as well as in the carriage house. The historic Brew House, on the other hand, showcases an extraordinary collection of wall murals, copper kettles, hop vine chandeliers, and ornate wrought-iron railings. Visitors are advised to allow at least 1 ½ hours for the entire tour. The Anheuser-Busch Brewery offers a unique opportunity and is truly worth visiting.
