Billings

Billings is the largest city of Montana and is spread around 106 km sq. Also called as The Yellowstone City on account of the Yellowstone River that passes through this region, it is home to some rare Montana wildlife. The climate of the region is generally warm but at times turns extreme with winters having below zero temperature while the summers witness the levels rising to as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Decorated with some great sites for tourists, Billings’s landscape is a treasure house. The historical building Moss Mansion, designed by architect H.J. Hardenbergh is a splendid creation that attracts many visitors.  ZooMontana is the ideal outing for kids who will love the animals and also have fun at the games organized.  Modern entertainment zone MetraPark is right for all members of the family as it offers a range of activities like concerts, horse racing and other amusing activities. History buffs will never have it better as Museums and galleries including the Yellowstone Art Museum and the interactive Western Heritage Center are filled with collections that bring alive the famous Lewis & Clark expedition and also other legendary characters from the Old West.
