Caesars Palace, situated on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, is a luxury hotel and casino, owned and managed by Harrah’s Entertainment. Located on the west side of the Strip, between the Mirage and the Bellagio, Caesars Palace features a total of 3,348 rooms in 5 towers, namely, the Forum, Centurion, Augustus, Palace, and Roman. This magnificent hotel and casino was built in 1966 by a cabana motel owner, Jay Sarno.
The playing cards at the Caesars Palace feature Cleopatra as the Queen of Spades and Julius Caesar as the King of Hearts. The recent most additions made to the resort include a splendid, 29-story, 1,017-room hotel tower adjacent to the Palace Tower; nearly 110,000 sq. ft. (10,000 sq. m.) of retail space and restaurants, replacing the outdoor Roman Plaza; 37,000 sq. ft. (3400 sq. m.) of added casino space; and a pedestrian promenade with a number of decorative fountains. Other major attractions at Caesars Palace include the exotic cars showroom; Pure Nightclub; the Pussycat Dolls Lounge; and a free shuttle to the sister property, Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino. Fall of Atlantis and Festival Fountain are two free shows offered at the Resort.
