Fremont Street Experience

fremont street experience

The heart of Downtown Las Vegas throbs with only one name that has now become the essence of the entire city. Pedestrian mall, The Fremont Street Experience, has emerged as the spirit of downtown and why not? There is so much to this one structure on the Las Vegas map that makes you awe-struck and asking for more.

Centrally located in the historic Downtown region, Fremont Street Experience was conceived in 1990 and completed in 1995. With pulsating music, glittering lights and breathtaking visuals, this region turns out to be the perfect rival for the celebrated Vegas Strip.

The Viva Vision which is the prime attraction takes over a great part of Fremont Street Experience. Spread over a massive 1,400 feet along the mall and with a towering height of 90 feet plus, the light and sound show displayed at the canopy is a favorite with tourists. New shows are conceptualized and created year after year for this special screening and there is a library of a minimum of 15 shows at any time ready to be screened.

Free entertainment is provided all through the year with music bands and artists performing live. The shops housed here are diverse and have something special to offer, like a spray paint artist shop and cabin selling mementos of engraved rice grains. Surrounded by the best of casinos in town, The Fremont Street Experience has to be experienced to know why millions of people drop in each year.
