The Imperial Palace, situated on the famed Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, is a hotel and casino, currently owned by the Harrah’s Imperial Palace Corporation, a subsidiary of Harrah’s Entertainment. This 2,640 room hotel features nearly 75,000 square ft (6967.5 square-meters) of casino space. The architectural style of the hotel is based on an Asian theme and it was given its current name by Ralph Engelstad. The major renovation in 1988 added an 18-story tower to the hotel.
The Imperial Place is best known for Legends in Concert, one of the longest running musical shows in the Las Vegas Area. Another major attraction at the hotel is The Auto Collections, the largest classic car showroom in the world. This showroom features over 250 classic, antique, and historically significant cars on display. Most of these cars are for sale. Imperial Palace has also been featured in a number of films and offers an extravagant experience in true sense of the word.
